Jolly LLB 3 2025 Hindi Movie

Synopsis

Jolly LLB 3” continues the popular courtroom drama series with a fresh twist — this time, both the original Jollys, Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi, face each other in court. Directed by Subhash Kapoor, the film blends humor, emotion, and a sharp look at corruption and injustice in the legal system.

Story & Theme

The story revolves around a major land fraud case involving farmers and powerful businessmen. Two lawyers, both nicknamed “Jolly,” find themselves on opposite sides of the courtroom — one fighting for justice, the other representing the corrupt elite. The film uses its legal setting to raise strong questions about ethics, truth, and the human cost of greed.

Performances

  • Akshay Kumar is charismatic and confident, portraying his version of Jolly with energy and emotional depth.

  • Arshad Warsi returns as the original Jolly, bringing warmth, subtle humor, and genuine sincerity.

  • Their on-screen chemistry is excellent — their verbal duels are among the film’s best moments.

  • Saurabh Shukla, once again as Judge Sunder Lal Tripathi, steals every scene with his timing and wit.

  • Gajraj Rao as the main antagonist delivers a strong performance, though Huma Qureshi and Amrita Rao are underused.

Direction & Writing

Subhash Kapoor stays true to the franchise’s tone — a mix of satire, courtroom chaos, and social realism. The screenplay tries to balance comedy and seriousness, often switching between light-hearted moments and intense debates.
However, the pacing could have been tighter; the first half drags in parts, and a few subplots feel unnecessary. Despite that, the emotional core remains strong, especially in scenes highlighting the struggles of common people against corruption.

Cinematography & Music

Visually, the film stays grounded. The courtroom scenes are shot with authenticity, keeping the focus on dialogue and performance rather than style. The background score complements the mood well, though the songs are mostly forgettable.
