Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari (2025) Hindi Movie

Synopsis

Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari is a vibrant blend of love, heartbreak, and second chances. The story follows Sunny, a cheerful but heartbroken man, who learns that his ex-girlfriend Ananya is getting married to someone else — Vikram. Determined to sabotage the wedding, Sunny teams up with Tulsi, Vikram’s ex, only for unexpected feelings to bloom between them.

The plot mixes traditional Bollywood romance with modern humor and drama. The screenplay has plenty of charm and energy, though it sometimes leans too heavily on predictable tropes. The first half is engaging and funny, while the second half drifts into emotional territory. A tighter script and sharper editing could have made the narrative more impactful.

Performances

Varun Dhawan shines as Sunny — energetic, goofy, and lovable, he carries the film with his signature charm. Janhvi Kapoor delivers a sincere and warm performance as Tulsi, balancing emotion and elegance beautifully.

Sanya Malhotra and Rohit Saraf have smaller but meaningful roles, adding depth to the story’s emotional dynamics. The chemistry between Varun and Janhvi feels natural and genuine — their banter, confusion, and gradual closeness are the heart of the film.

Direction & Music

Director Shashank Khaitan brings his usual flair for colorful visuals and lively pacing. The film feels big, festive, and emotionally bright — a proper Bollywood celebration of love. However, at times, the story’s simplicity makes it feel safe rather than bold.

The music is one of the highlights — catchy dance numbers and soulful romantic songs keep the audience engaged. The background score complements the tone perfectly, switching smoothly between fun and emotion.

Cinematography & Production

Visually, the film is gorgeous. From extravagant wedding sets to picturesque song sequences, everything looks rich and well-designed. The costumes are stylish, and the production design captures the essence of grand Indian romance.
